Many of our properties are near the 22,500-acre Quivira National Wildlife Refuge, a key stop for hundreds of thousands of migratory birds each year. As waterfowl move off the refuge to feed and rest, our strategically managed properties provide prime hunting opportunities.
We tailor your hunt to the conditions, adjusting decoy spreads and setups to align with bird activity. Whether the waterfowl are hitting open fields or unfrozen ponds, we ensure you're in the right spot at the right time. Our hunting setups include layout blinds and larger A-frame-style blinds, with a variety of decoy spreads to target both ducks and geese.
Hunters can expect a mix of species, including puddle ducks like Mallards, Gadwalls, Wigeons, Shovelers, and Wood Ducks, as well as diver ducks like Redheads, Canvasbacks, and Buffleheads. As cold fronts bring the peak Mallard migration in early to mid-December, geese like Specklebellies, Lesser Canadians, and Snows follow closely, offering the chance to hunt ducks and geese from the same location.
