A fantastic Rio Grande turkey harvested with us. One may ask where's the beard? Don't worry hunters, it's a really good Tom. After finally getting this bird to come in & hearing the deep throated gobbles, we need this was no ordinary turkey. The cut off beard fooled us at first, but a quick glance with the binoculars at the spurs quickly showed that this was in fact a good mature Tom turkey. Both of the spurs measured at 1" 1/4 with a cut off beard that still measured 5" 3/8! Gobble, gobble!!
